Hera Grange Housing for People with Complex Disabilities supported by Care Technology

Hera Grange is a community development in Dumfries, Scotland, consisting of 11 bungalows equipped with Carezapp care technology. Developed in partnership with Dumfries and Galloway Health and Social Care Partnership, Loreburn Housing Association and Turning Point Scotland, the project aims to provide long-term solutions for social care in rural areas.

Hera Grange represents a collaborative effort to address the region’s housing and social care challenges. Loreburn Housing Association’s commitment to high-quality homes with specialised design features supports independent living, while Dumfries and Galloway Council’s Social Work Committee and Turning Point Scotland have expressed their support and hope for similar projects in the future. The integration of Carezapp care technology in the largest site of its kind in the area demonstrates a modern approach to providing quality housing and monitoring the well-being of residents with complex disabilities.
